The Grand Marshal for Kensington Holiday at Home 2023 is Margo Kasch. Margo has been a Kensington resident since she was 5 years old. Margo has done so much for the Kensington community over the years. If you are a fan of the decorated street lamps at Christmas, you can thank Margo for keeping that tradition going. Each year, she organizes the distribution of the flyers, the elves that wrap the poles and making sure the wreaths, ribbons and bows are ready to go. She is a member of the Friends of Franklin, helping out in classrooms, the running club, fundraising and serving on the 80th and 90th anniversary celebration committees. Margo has been a member of the Litter Pickers since approximately 1995. She organizes the Litter Pickers every month to clean up on Fairmont Drive and when she's not picking up litter on Fairmont with her fellow Pickers, she joins them dancing down Marlborough in the Litter Pickers' choreographed parade entry. After seeing the first parade in 1983, Margo asked to help out and was put in charge of recruiting the judges. She also helps deliver the KSAC parade flyers each year. Margo Kasch's commitment and contributions to the community truly exemplify the "Kindness in Kensington" theme of this year's parade.
